Tickets for our next four (!) book clubs are now available online here. I’m giving you an early heads up as a newsletter subscriber before I share them on Instagram later on today - so grab your tickets now if you’ve got your eye on them 👀
Read on to find out a bit more about what we’ll be reading over the next four months.
April
In April we’re reading Ejaculate Responsibly by Gabrielle Blair. We'll be interrogating cultural stereotypes around pregnancy prevention, questioning who should be responsible for contraception, and challenging our own internal biases on the topic.

May
In May we’re reading XX by Angela Chadwick, a sci-fi novel exploring gender and reproduction in a world where a new technology enables two women to have a female baby. Following on from the themes of conception and parenthood from our previous two book clubs, we'll be continuing our discussions around gender and family-making.

June
In June we’re reading Disobedient Bodies by Emma Dabiri and probing the ways in which our perception of beauty is tied to patriarchy and capitalism. How can we embrace our bodies in a society that tells us to criticise them? And how can we produce a new definition of 'beauty'?

July
In July we’re reading The Transgender Issue by Shon Faye, a powerful manifesto for justice and solidarity with the trans community. We'll be reflecting on how we can create a more inclusive society and thinking in practical terms about what we can do to dismantle the narrative of transphobia in favour of a healthier conversation about trans life and celebration of trans joy.
